Questy Chess made its PC debut at BitSummit 13, up on the second floor.
Our little corner ended up attracting a great mix. Seasoned chess players ready to test their instincts, and curious newcomers discovering the game in a completely new way. Watching both groups engage with Questy Chess was equal parts rewarding and eye-opening.
It was our first time showing the game at a trade show, and while it was genuinely a blast, it also came with a very “indie dev reality check.” Our showfloor PC decided to misbehave right out of the gate. But, in true community spirit, an old friend stepped in and saved the day with a spare laptop. We were incredibly grateful for the help.
All in all, it was a fun, slightly chaotic, and very humbling first outing for the PC version of the game.
